According to a report from OregonLive, former Ultimate Fighting Championship star Hermes Franca Barros, 37, was sentenced to 42 months in prison after being convicted this week of sexually abusing an underage female student at his Clackamas Martial Arts school.
The report notes that Franca plead guilty in Clackamas County Court on Wednesday to one count of unlawful penetration and one count of first-degree sexual abuse and was sentenced to 42 months in prison. Franca was arraigned in May on seven counts of first-degree sexual abuse and two counts of second-degree unlawful sexual penetration, with remaining counts dismissed.
Upon his release from prison in July 2015, Franca will also have to serve 54 months of post-prison supervision and must register as a sex offender.
