With UFC 143 and the Superbowl both scheduled to take place this weekend, some major news has come out regarding both companies today after a federal agent posed as a WWE representative looking to acquire several websites, only to seize 16 websites owned by a 28-year-old male under the name of Yonjo Quiroa.

The report notes that Mr. Quiroa, also known under the name of Ronaldo Solano, provided video access to WWE, UFC, TNA Wrestling, NBA, NHL, NFL, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, Carling Cup and Barclays Premier League events through 9 of the 16 websites that were seized. The agent had arranged a meeting last week by offering to buy several domain names from Mr. Quiroa, who responded to making a deal. The 16 seized websites include firstrow.tv, firstrowsports.com, firstrowsports.net, firstrowsports.tv, hq-streams.tv, robplay.tv, soccertvlive.net, sports95.com, sports95.net, sports95.org, sportswwe.net, sportswwe.tv, sportswwe.com, xonesports.tv, youwwe.com, and youwwe.net.

Quiroa operated his websites from February 2010 to January 2012 out of his Michigan, Detroit home and received approximately $13,000 from online advertisers to help fund his online streaming operation. He faces one count of criminal infringement of a copyright.
