Family Wrestling Entertainment sent out the following:

NEW YORK, NY., October 9th, 2013 – We are merely days away from the next HUGE event presented by FWE! On Saturday Night, October 12th, live from St. Patrick’s Gym in Brooklyn, NY, and on iPPV! If you can’t join us live, you can catch us on iPPV. The first hour of the event will be for FREE on YouTube! There will also be a FREE simulcast on Ustream. The final two hours of the show will be on Ustream for a small fee. We will kick off the First Round of the Open Weight Grand Prix tournament. Unlike many tournaments, this is open to every competitor in FWE, with some notable debuts. On the line for this tournament is not only prestige, but a HUGE announcement will be made live at the event on what else the winner will receive.

There are a few fresh faces, unresolved issues and shockers in this tournament!

First Round Matches:

Brian Kendrick vs Joey Ryan

Kendrick who has been so close to achieving greatness in FWE, has the chance here to finally cement his place and shoot to the top and have the chance to say he deserves a World Heavyweight Championship Match. Standing in his way will be Joey Ryan who will be making his FWE debut. The brash youngster who is quite the opposite of what FWE stands for, would love nothing more than to derail the dream of Kendrick and advance to Round 2.

Sonjay Dutt vs Petey Williams

What can be said about these two men that hasn’t been said, or shown in the ring, before? Both men have had impressive outings in FWE and a win here moves one to the Second Round and catapults them higher in the rankings. Having faced each other many times before, this could be possibly the closest contested Match in the tournament. The Hindu Press vs the Canadian Destroyer, which impressive move will claim victory?

Carlito Colon vs Tommy Dreamer

Two former FWE World Heavyweight Champions collide. This will be the first time these two men have faced off one on one in FWE. Dreamer lost the Title to Colon in a 3 Way Dance at the inaugural House of Hardcore event which also included Knux (formerly known as Mike Knox.) Dreamer received his rematch in yet another multi man match, a TLC Match which also included Matt Hardy. These men will finally prove who is the better man.

Wes Draven vs Chris Mordetzky

One of the top FWE standouts faces a tested veteran. Wes Draven, who has been a part of the FWE Roster since day one has a huge opportunity as he faces Chris Mordetzky. Mordetzky has faced many legends and defeated true superstars in the industry. Draven has been on a roll and is always a highlight for the fans. On paper, it looks like a no brainer as to who will win. To true FWE fans, they know, you can never count out Draven.

Jorge Santi vs Rhett Titus

Another FWE standout faces a newcomer to FWE. The Firebird has been a true diamond in the rough here in FWE. From defeating competitors like Jason Gotti to standing up to Chris Mordetsky and taking him to the limit, Santi has quickly cemented his name as a top contender. Making his debut this Saturday night will be Rhett Titus. This cocky individual has been making his name in the Northeast for the past few years. He is coming to further add to his list of credentials and prove to the FWE competitors and fans alike that he is here to stay and what perfect way than to defeat a man that fans see as their hometown hero.

Paul London (Tri Borough Champion) vs Tony Nese

The current FWE Tri Borough Champion, Paul London, looks to add another Title to his credits and that is Open Weight Grand Prix Champion. London defeated the lengthy reign of Damien Darling and now he faces a tough test against Tony Nese. Nese has provided incredible matches since he debuted in FWE. A win here for Nese not only moves him to the Second Round but would give him bragging rights to demand a shot at the Tri Borough Championship. London would love to advance to also gain a possible future World Championship Match.

Colt Cabana vs Ted DiBiase Jr.

Making his long awaited return to FWE, Cabana is a huge dark horse in this tournament. Besides being incredibly entertaining, do not forget that he is an incredible wrestler. That will be put to the test as he faces a man who possesses a huge legacy in this business, Ted DiBiase. Making his first appearance for any other wrestling promotion, DiBiase wanted to come here and prove that he is the best of the best and win the tournament during his debut performances. Will Cabana pay the price or will DiBiase feel the Boom?

John Hennigan (World Heavyweight Champion) vs Matt Morgan

The “Main Event” of the First Round; The World Champion vs The Blueprint. Hennigan shocked the world when he defeated Carlito Colon at “Welcome To The Rumble 2” to become the FWE World Heavyweight Champion in his debut match. The athletic, charismatic Champion has a strong challenge when he faces another man making his FWE debut, Matt Morgan. The 7 foot competitor is looking to take out Hennigan, advance and claim a future World Championship Match. A loss here for Hennigan would certainly cause a blow to the ego and possibly chink the armor for his next challenger. Morgan is determined to cement his Carbon Footprint in FWE and become the face of the company.

If you thought the show was over there, you thought wrong! Taking place will be two matches to determine a Number One Contender for the FWE Women’s Championship, currently held by Maria Kanellis.

Rosita vs Kasey Ray vs Ivelisse Velez

Three of the most fiery womens athletes square off in a quest for gold. Rosita makes her FWE return after a long absence and would love nothing more than to advance and earn a future shot at Maria. Kasey Ray, who is no stranger to FWE fans, will be making her in ring debut on October 12th. If her Superkick to Wes Draven at FWE X was any indication on what power this female packs, the other competitors should be on their toes. Ivelisse has just dominated since she debuted for FWE earlier this year. She is coming in for one reason, to demolish these females and get a shot at the woman who left her hanging at “Welcome To The Rumble 2.”

Angelina Love vs Serena Deeb vs Cheerleader Melissa

Three of the top names in womens wrestling square off in a chance to become the Number One Contender for the FWE Women’s Championship. Angelina Love has a lot of history with Maria Kanellis and has been a favorite with the FWE family. Multiple time champion around the world she faces two of her toughest competitors ever. Serena Deeb makes her FWE debut. The standout who hasn’t seen much action since a concussion in October of 2011. She makes her FWE debut and looks to take out two world renowned competitors. Cheerleader Melissa could possibly be the hardest hitter this division has seen. She is a major threat to all of the women in FWE. Making her debut on this night, Angelina & Serena may need to team up to take her out before worrying about each other.

FWE World Tag Team Title Match:

Adrenaline Express vs The Young Bucks vs Bandido Jr. & Trent Barretta

The Unstoppable Tag Team Champions Adrenaline Express have faced and defeated every team in FWE and in one night defeated two teams to win the Titles. On October 12th, they will face two teams at the same time! The Young Bucks receive another chance at AE after their close loss to them at No Limits 2013. The third team in this match is quite the surprise and neither Adrenaline Express nor The Bucks can prepare for this team as they will be making their debut. Bandido Jr., who is no stranger to FWE fans will be teaming with a man making his FWE debut, Trent Barretta. The New York native is looking to claim gold and what a partner to have. This will be face paced. Don’t blink or you’ll miss something incredible!

That is STILL not it! Maryse Ouellet returns to FWE to add her brand of sexiness to the commentary position! Karen Jarrett makes her FWE debut! Also, if you are live in Brooklyn, NY you can meet all of the FWE stars from 6 – 8 and JUST ADDED to sign autographs is none other than “The King Of The Mountain” Jeff Jarrett! Come see Jeff in a rare appearance!
