TNA Wrestling superstar Ethan Carter III made a surprise appearance at last night’s EVOLVE 61 internet pay-per-view event alongside Drew Galloway.

EC3 and Drew attacked several members of the EVOLVE roster, before Carter cut a promo on the WWE, noting that he has succeeded without their help and became a World Champion, just like Drew Galloway did. Galloway, who turned on Johnny Gargano due to his alliance with WWE and Gargano working NXT tapings, said that he feels that the EVOLVE/WWE alliance is hurting independent wrestling and that EVOLVE are giving into the WWE and losing their independent spirit.
