Dragon Gate USA issued the following today in response to people questioning whether WWE are working with the promotion.

“We were as surprised as anyone when WWE called Gabe last week for quotes. WWE.com used most of the material Sapolsky gave them in the 30 minute interview. However, don’t read too much into this. It is just an article at WWE.com to give the site some unique and outside-the-box material. This is not a sign of any type of a working relationship or an “invasion angle”.
