WWE have an article up on their official website noting that WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler suffered a concussion at Tuesday night’s WWE SmackDown tapings at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina when he interfered in Big E Langston’s match with Jack Swagger and took a blow to the face.
WWE physician, Dr. Michael Sampson commented on Ziggler’s concussion stating, “He [was] having some memory difficulties and a bit of a headache … he definitely has a concussion. We’re checking him out, and going to be doing neuropsychological testing and just keep it monitored.”
The report notes that the test result will provide the company’s medical officials with a baseline from which to monitor Ziggler’s clinical and neuropsychological progress as time passes.
