TNA Wrestling Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer Dixie Carter held a locker room meeting with TNA Wrestling talent at last night’s television tapings, according to a report from PWInsider.com who note that Carter spoke to talents about a number of different issues and allowed the talents to ask questions.

The report notes that one of the issued that was discussed was regarding late payments to the talents, to which Carter stated that there are times where the payments were made late because TNA Wrestling is waiting for money that they are owed to come in. Carter was also asked about the rumors that WWE was about to buy the promotion, to which she acknowledged that WWE wanted to purchase the promotion, but that she would not let that happen, even though she could have and that the company still owns their own tape library, in regards to the rumors that the WWE were interested in purchasing it for future use on DVD releases and WWE Network material.

Carter said that she remains the majority owner of TNA Wrestling, but acknowledged that there has been some in-fighting and a power struggle among the other owners of the company and that in regards to the financial issues leading into Bound For Glory, noted that the show was never not going to happen, but acknowledged that they had scrambled leading up to the pay-per-view.

The report notes that Carter acted surprised that everyone was so up in arms and worried about the status of the company and apologized to the locker room that there was so much concern and worry among them and that among those that the website spoke to, the feeling was that the locker room meeting did help alleviate certain concerns, but there is obviously still a worry at the end of the day about where things may go after the company is done filming material for the rest of the year and that there was respect for her stepping up in such a worrying time for the promotion right now addressing the roster.
