Speaking through his official Facebook page, former WCW World Champion Diamond Dallas Page noted that he has been diagnosed with subglottic tracheitis and may be in line for surgery on his throat.

For those unfamiliar, subglottic tracheitis is a severe swelling of the vocal chords, which can also bring a narrowing of the airways under the chords due to mucus, preventing the person from getting enough air in to breath.
