WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose is featured in this week’s sit-down interview with Michael Cole.
Cole brought up the Last Man Standing match with Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view to which Ambrose said that you can’t keep him down and no one will ever beat him in a Last Man Standing match. Cole said that Ambrose was still able to make his way into the 30 Man Royal Rumble match and made it to the end with Triple H. Ambrose said that he took two things away from the night at the Rumble and that they are that there are very few people that will taste the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and main eventing WrestleMania, but he came close and the second thing he took away was that he lost fair and square to Triple H and feels like Triple H dumped him over the top rope and not that Triple H kicked his a**. Ambrose said that this proves he’s one of the best, period and no one in this industry can do it all like he does and said that Triple H is one of the greatest of all-time, but he doesn’t think that Triple H has what it takes on his best day to beat Dean Ambrose and said that if he wins at WWE Fastlane, then he has the chance to prove that.
Cole then brought up the Triple Threat Number One Contender’s Match at WWE Fastlane with Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns and whether it matters that his best friend stands between him and a title shot at WrestleMania 32. Ambrose said that it does not matter as he’s fought Reigns before and will fight him again and that they don’t look for excuses not to fight each other as that’s not how they are. Ambrose then said that in regards to Brock Lesnar, he always thought Lesnar was cool and always liked him personally, but he’s starting to get p***** off at the thought of Lesnar and asked if he is supposed to be scared or intimidated and said that he is not scared of marketing and said that Lesnar probably could break him in half with his bare hands and that he probably should be scared. Ambrose then said that Lesnar could keep suplexing him and dumping him on his head in the match, but he will eventually get tired when Ambrose gets up time after time and said that Lesnar may realize that he should have taken Ambrose more seriously.
