WWE superstar David Otunga has been announced as the primary custodial parent, after Jennifer Hudson and Otunga reached a temporary custody agreement which gives Otunga custody of their 8-year-old son David Jr the majority of the time, according to a report from TMZ.com.

The report notes that Jennifer Hudson is currently in London, England shooting The Voice UK and is committed to significant travel to Los Angeles, California to do the American version of the show. As a result, Jennifer has voluntarily dropped her order of protection, which prohibited Otunga from having contact with her or their son.

David has stated since the legal issues began that he has been their son’s primary caregiver since his birth due to Jennifer’s travel schedule, with the report stating that both now acknowledge that Otunga will again become the primary custodial parent until a formal custody agreement is worked out.
