The Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) promotion in Mexico crowned a new World Historic Welterweight Champion as part of their Viernes Espectacular event last night as Mascara Dorada defeated Rocky Romero to become the new Champion.

Mascara Dorada’s victory brings an end to Romero’s 329-day reign as the Champion.
