In an update on CM Punk’s potential standing regarding the upcoming AEW: Fight Forever videogame, and whether he would be removed from the game following the events of the backstage brawl at AEW All Out several months ago, a report from SportsKeeda notes that Punk will still be part of the game’s roster when the game is released.
The report notes that All Elite Wrestling have stated that if anybody that had already been marketed for AEW: Fight Forever had to be removed from the game, then they would make a formal announcement on that matter. Punk was heavily featured in the first cover and trailer for the game, however in a new trailer and cover released back in November, Punk was no longer featured as a cover star.
While no release date has been officially confirmed, the game is scheduled to be released on XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation 5, XBOX One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
