In an update on Christian potentially returning to the ring, a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter note that while Christian has been cleared to wrestle for some time, several WWE officials see him as “fragile” since suffering a mild concussion back in March.

The report notes that for Christian, there are people who think that he’s too fragile now because of his age and because he keeps getting hurt and that the mentality is that his wrestling career is over, but the company want to keep him in some form, whether that is as an on-air personality, a trainer or an agent.

Speaking of Christian, there will be an Edge & Christian special on the WWE Network next Monday at 11:06pm Eastern right after WWE RAW ends as part of WWE SmackDown’s 15th Anniversary celebrations.
