Former WWE Champion Chris Jericho made his return to New Japan Pro Wrestling at today’s Wrestling Dontaku 2018 Day 2 event at the Fukuoka International Center in Fukuoka, Japan.
Jericho, under a mask, attacked Tetsuya Naito in a scene similar to New Year’s Dash earlier in the year. Following a 10 Man Tag Team Match, Naito was the only Los Ingobernables de Japon member left in the ring, which led to the Jericho attack, setting the stage for next month’s Dominion pay-per-view, which presumably would be for Naito’s IWGP Intercontinental Title.
