Despite being silent on television and playing to the crowd in recent weeks, Chris Jericho broke his silence in an interview with Doug Lunney of the Winnipeg Sun, to promote WWE’s return to the city. In keeping up with his current gimmick, Jericho noted that there will be some great matches on the card including a steel cage match, a triple threat match and most importantly, he is going to be there and he is going to melt the snow with his lighted jacket.
Jericho is also featured in an interview with the Winnipeg Free Press and noted that although he expects to take time off for other projects outside the WWE during his current run, he has no intentions of leaving the company anytime soon and noted that he is in the best shape of his life and feels great. Jericho stated that the thing for him is he always has lots of other stuff going on and he always has on a weekly basis, so sometimes he leaves to work on other projects but always comes back.
