In an update on former WWE superstar Adam Rose’s (Raymond Leppan) domestic issues, all charges against Leppan were dropped by prosecutors in Florida and the case against him is now closed, according to a report from TMZ.com, who noted that the decision was made after Leppan provided proof that he was getting assistance for his marital issues.
For those unfamiliar with the story, Leppan was arrested back on May 11th at his home in Florida after authorities responded to a 911 call that his wife attempted to make. According to the police report on the arrest, Leppan and his wife were having an argument regarding the state of the marriage at their home when Rose grabbed her face with his hands and pulled her close to his own face as he screamed at her. Leppan’s wife dialed 911 from their home phone, however Leppan took the phone from her to prevent her from reporting the incident and according to the arresting officers, Leppan admitted that he took the phone from his wife. As a result of Leppan grabbing the phone from his wife, it resulted in him being charged in the tampering with a witness, a felony in the state of Florida, while he was also charged with domestic battery, which is a misdemeanor.
At the time of his arrest, Leppan was serving a 60 Day WWE Wellness Policy suspension for his second violation of the company’s policy and was later suspended indefinitely per the company’s policy on domestic issues. Leppan later requested a release from his contract and intends to work on the independent scene under the name of Aldo Rose, which appears to be a non-PG version of his WWE character.
