It is with deep sadness to report that former Universal Wrestling Federation superstar, Savannah Jack, passed away on January 17th, with note of his passing only made available in today’s edition of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

Age 63, of Mpls, grew up in Rondo. Passed January 17, 2012

Preceded in death by parents, Mary Savannah Nelson, Theodore Russell, and Arthur Nelson; and brother, Kenneth Cook. Played football at U of M, 1st degree blackbelt TaeKwonDo. Former employee of MTC, professional wrestler & UWF Champion “Savannah Jack,” and pit boss at Mystic Lake.

Survived by soulmate life partner of 21 years, Juli Grage; sons, Peyton & Kai Russell; grandchildren, Daesk & Rowan; sisters, Mrs. Portia Fowler & Svaha SriDhanyata. Service to be held on Monday, January 30 at 3 PM at Cremation Society of MN, 4343 Nicollet, Mpls. Memorials preferred to the family.
