Women Superstars Uncensored sent out the following:
WSU & Rick Cataldo Part Ways
WSU & Rick Cataldo have parted ways effective immediately. Rick started his WSU career by threatening to sue WSU if he wasn’t used on the shows, saying WSU discriminated based on gender and wasn’t an employer based on gender equality. In that time, Cataldo managed several different champions, including Brittney Savage, Cindy Rogers, Jana, Annie Social & Roxxie Cotton.
Cataldo also won the WSU Tag Team Titles due to his association with the Beatdown Betties. However, WSU attorneys have pointed out that WSU hires many men, such as our referees, commentators, production staff, ticket takers and vendors. Due to this new legal loophole, and the fact that WSU wants to give opportunities to new talent, such as Lufisto, Leva Bates, Terra Callaway, Kalamity and others, WSU decided to part ways with Mr. Cataldo and wish him well in the future.
With Cataldo’s dismissal, it should be interesting to see where the careers of Tina San Antonio & Ezavel Suena go, as both recently accepted Cataldo’s managerial/agent services. Tina San Antonio told WSUWrestling.com, “I didn’t need Rick anyway, I didn’t need Marti, I don’t need anyone. It’s time for the world to realize how great I am.” When asked for comment, Suena, who does not speak English, told WSUWrestling.com, “Wepa, No habla(s) inglés.”
Both Suena & San Antonio will appear on the 6/16 Uncensored Rumble event.
