In an update on independent wrestler Sami Callihan signing a potential WWE developmental deal following news from Big Japan Pro Wrestling that he would be missing their tour due to that news, according to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider through sources in Combat Zone Wrestling, a promotion Callihan appears for notes that Callihan was pulled off the tour due to a family member dealing with a health issue and Sami not wanting to be out of the country for the amount of days that the tour would take up.

As of writing, Callihan signing for the WWE is unknown, however the company have had a big interest in signing him for some time and he is believed to be amongst the influx of new talent joining the company before the opening of WWE’s Performance Center this July.
