At Saturday night’s Squared Circle Wrestling (2CW) event at the Kennedy Arena in Rome, New York, Brodie Lee, best known for his appearances with CHIKARA, Dragon Gate USA, EVOLVE and more announced that as the current reigning 2CW Champion, he will be relinquishing his title as he is moving to Florida, due to the fact that he has signed a developmental contract with the WWE.

The crowd at the arena didn’t react badly to Brodie Lee’s decision and actually supported him, where he noted that the event would be his last night for 2CW as he makes the move to Florida and joins Florida Championship Wrestling later this week.

It was initially reported back on March 12th that Lee had signed a WWE developmental contract.
