WWE superstar and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar is scheduled for his first hearing with the Nevada State Atheltic Commission on August 23rd, just two days after the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view.
Lesnar’s failed out-of-competition and in-competition drug tests, which were administered by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), UFC’s anti-doping agency partner, showed that he failed twice for clomiphene, a banned substance under the UFC/USADA drug policy and will be discussed in the hearing.
The expectation is that Lesnar will face a two-year suspension by the UFC for his first offense and additional punishment from the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
