– In an update on Bobby Roode’s TNA Wrestling contract, the company had the option of renewing the final year of his deal before it expired but failed to do so and for a brief period made Roode a free agent, allowing him if he chose to speak to the WWE or any other company, as well as create issues with his work vias. Roode informed the TNA Wrestling office of his contract issue and re-signed a deal on Saturday allowing him to appear at the TNA LockDown pay-per-view on Sunday. It is said that this is not the first time something like this has happened with a talent, however Roode is the most high-profile name whose contract was mistakenly allowed to expire by company officials.

– TNA announced today that the main event for their April 5th “WrestleMania Weekend” event in Westbury, New York will see Sting & Jeff Hardy teaming up to face off against Bully Ray & Devon (under The Aces & Eights name). Also scheduled for the event are Hulk Hogan, Austin Aries, Velvet Sky, Bobby Roode, James Storm, Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle and more.

– Jules Wortman, who held the position of TNA’s VP of Public Relations was recently let go by the company, with an issue at the TNA LockDown pay-per-view attributed to her departure.

– The original plans for the TNA LockDown pay-per-view was set to see the cage roof filled with weapons for the Lethal LockDown match, however something malfunctioned with the cage mechanism and was the reason that Sting came to the ring with weapons instead.

– Various people within the company are stating that there were no crowd plants at the TNA LockDown pay-per-view instructed to throw trash in the ring, as this would have been a major liability for the company if a fan was hit by something from a crowd plant.

– We can confirm that former WWE star Ryan Braddock, now going under the name of Jay Bradley, has been signed to a deal with TNA Wrestling and will be training at Ohio Valley Wrestling, as well as working the independent scene until the company decide to use him. Bradley had been doing work as a member of The Aces & Eights in recent months.

– The former Mike Knox is now going under the name of Knux.

– As of writing, Angelina Love, Rain, Winter, Awesome Kong, Sarita, Roxxi and Traci Brooks have rejected an invite from TNA Wrestling to appear at their TNA Knockouts only pay-per-view event which tapes this weekend.

– More floor seats have been released for tomorrow’s Impact Wrestling tapings in Chicago, Illinois, which Dixie Carter noted on her official Twitter account stating, “We just released some great floor seats for Impact from Chicago on Thursday! HUGE fallout from Lockdown.”
