In an update on Bill DeMott announcing that he was standing down from his role as WWE NXT head trainer earlier today, only a select few will know of the circumstances of DeMott’s resignation from his position just three days after WWE issued a statement that a previous investigation was unable to validate the claims against DeMott, according to a report from PWInsider.com.

The report notes that DeMott’s last date for the company was at last night’s WWE NXT event at the LC Pavillion in Columbus, Ohio and that nothing was said to the NXT roster last night, which led to the belief that the resignatio occured today as no one working last night’s taping had any indication that something was going to happen, despite a lot of discussion privately regarding whether DeMott’s days were numbered.

The report also states that DeMott’s resignation tweet was his only comment publicly, while privately he did not address the WWE NXT talents in Ohio about his departure and that Matt Bloom (Jason Albert/A-Train/Tensai) has been namded the Interim Head Trainer of WWE NXT and will take over DeMott’s duties at the WWE Performance Center and WWE developmental, however whether that becomes permanent is unknown and that the change from DeMott to Bloom was announced via an e-mail from Mark Carano of WWE’s talent relations department to the developmental roster shortly after DeMott issued his resignation publicly.
