WWE SmackDown superstar Big E revealed in a post on his official Twitter account that he suffered a broken neck during the tag team match featuring himself and Kofi Kingston vs. Ridge Holland and Sheamus on last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown on FOX.
When the injury occurred, medical personnel attended to Big E and stretchered him out of the ringside area, with Big E giving a thumbs up to the crowd in attendance on his way out.
“I can’t thank all of you beautiful people enough for all of your concern and your messages, it’s very heartwarming. I can move all my digits, you see that, that’s nice, that’s always a good thing, strength feels fine, but unfortunately, right now they tell me that my neck is broken, so there’s that.
Once again, thank you everybody, I’m going to be alright, I’ll be good, don’t worry, go to sleep, don’t worry about old me, but for real, thank you and I appreciate all of you.”
On behalf of Wrestling-News.Net, we would like to extend our best wishes to Big E and also wish him a speedy recovery.
