In an interview with CTNow.com to promote this Monday’s edition of WWE RAW at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut, WWE superstar Big E commented about being on the road with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, as well as his diet on the road.
“We find ourselves stopping at Denny’s a lot, they’ve got a new set of Skillets that really caught our eye, so that’s something to look forward to. For me, it’s a matter of geting as much protein as possible, I try to get about 300 grams of protein a day and I carry probably about a half-pound of whey protein on the road to supplement in-between meals. For the most part, I try to keep my carbs down and eat a decent amount of protein. On the road, you get used to places that are open after shows at 1 or 2 in the morning and then trying to eat as clean as possible. I will admit to not having the cleanest of diets and that’s something I’m working on. Being a thicker human being, protein is essential. Last week, I went to Waffle House and got 14 scrambled eggs, that’s eating on the road for you.”
