While many professional wrestling fans hold out hope for seeing matches involving current WWE Divas Champion, Beth Phoenix, taking on the likes of Kharma, Trish Stratus, Chyna and other various women’s wrestling stars both past and present, the WWE Diva herself has her eyes set on a future potential opponent.

Speaking to the Carrol County Times newspaper, hyping up her WWE Divas Championship defence against Eve Torres at this Sunday’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view, Beth noted that she would love to face off against former WWE Women’s Champion, Amy “Lita” Dumas, noting that she was a huge fan of Lita. Beth noted that when she went to wrestling school, on the first day of her training, the first thing she mentioned was that she wanted to be teached how to do a moonsault and a hurricanrana, however little did she know that Lita’s style of wrestling wouldn’t develop into her own style.

Beth noted that when she started she just idolized wanting to be the next Lita, however her style developed into something completely different. Beth also commented about her relationship with WWE Monday Night RAW superstar CM Punk, the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view this Sunday, WWE’s Be A Star anti-bullying campaign and much more.
