WWE RAW superstar Becky Lynch and WWE Hall of Famer Lita created history during Monday’s episode of WWE RAW when they defeated Damage CTRL’s Dakota Kai & IYO SKY to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

As a result of their win, Lita joins “Rowdy” Roddy Piper as a wrestler to have won a WWE Tag Team Championship AFTER being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, with Piper doing so in 2006 with Ric Flair, who was an active WWE wrestler at that time.

Additionally, Lynch now joins Flair as the only woman to hold a Tag Team Championship in the WWE with someone who is already inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as their tag partner.
