In an interview with Chuck Carroll of CBS in Washington, DC, WWE superstar Bad News Barrett discussed his own career goals, Tyson Kidd and more.
Highlights of the interview are below:
On his own career goals: “I want to be the Champion of the world, there’s never been a British World Champion before, I think that’s a terrible statistic and somebody needs to wipe that out, hopefully, it’s me. I’m going to take it as far as I can, there’s certain elements involved in pro wrestling that aren’t solely down to the performer, there’s only so much I can do, I’ve kind of stopped beating myself up about things not working out the way I want them to everytime.”
On Tyson Kidd and Kidd’s popularity due to Total Divas: “He’s a great pro wrestler, he’s technically very astute and a great performer, but for whatever reason, he gets more people coming up to him saying hello because they’ve seen him on the Total Divas show than they’ve seen him in the ring, which I’ve thought was pretty amazing.”
