Ayako Hamada, who has made appearances for TNA Wrestling, SHIMMER Women Athletes and Lucha Libre AAA over the years, had her contract terminated with the Pro Wrestling WAVE promotion in Japan after she was arrested for substance abuse and taken into custody, according to a report from SquaredCircleSirens.com.

The report notes that earlier this week, Hamada had to cancel her title defense against DASH Chisako at a Sendai Girls show in Osaka, Japan due to what she described at the time as health-related issues, but that Sendai Girls later announced that Hamada had returned the belt.
