Alexis Gray, who signed with the WWE as part of the 2023 Performance Center Rookie Class, was released from her contract with the company on Thursday.
Gray, a former sprinter who represented the Bahamas National Team, took to her official Twitter account to confirm the release writing, “I am no longer with WWE. At the end of the day, I put in work everyday that I went in that place. I have have never wrestled in my whole life but that did not stop me from showing that I can be one of the world’s greatest superstars. Now that I’ve found this new passion, I won’t stop, I’ll just take another way.”
Gray is the latest name to be released following the departures of Mustafa Ali, Emma, Aliyah, Rick Boogs, Elias, Riddick Moss, Top Dolla, Shelton Benjamin, Dolph Ziggler, Quincy Elliott, Bryson Montana, Dana Brooke, Mansoor, Mace, Dabba-Kato, Shanky, Yulisa Leon, Daniel McArthur and Kevin Ventura-Cortes.
