Former WWE superstar Alberto del Rio (Alberto El Patron) and current WWE women’s wrestler Paige were reportedly involved in an incident at last night’s IWRG (International Wrestling Revolution Group/Grupo Internacional Revolución) event at Arena Naucalpan which led to a legitimate backstage brawl, according to a report from Kris Zellner of LuchaBlog.

The report notes that Del Rio and Paige were visiting at the show as Del Rio’s brother and former WWE developmental talent El Hijo de Dos Caras was working the event as one of the headliners and that Paige and Patron were seen drinking before the incident.

Meanwhile, according to a report from PWInsider.com, according to someone who was in the locker room at the time, Paige loudly reacted as if Rafy (formerly known as Alan Xtreme) had been disrespectful towards her or had allegedly touched her, which led to a physical confrontation between Del Rio and Rafy in the locker room that burst out into a hallway that allowed some of it to be witnessed, in full view, to fans that had a direct line of sight. The report goes on to note that Del Rio easily won the fight and that Rafy took to his personal Facebook page later that night to acknowledge that punches were indeed thrown, but that he was okay.
