Alberto Del Rio receives stitches

Alberto Del Rio required seven stitches to close a wound sustained during the July 28 “WWE Superstars” taping.

“During Alberto’s match with Justin Gabriel, Justin’s elbow struck the left orbital area of Del Rio, causing a laceration,” said WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann. “He’s going to keep it covered for a couple of days and he should be medically cleared to compete on WWE Main Event.”
