The following results are from a recent GFW IMPACT taping. The taping took place on August 18th, 2017 at the IMPACT Zone at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida and will air over the coming weeks at 8pm Eastern on POP TV.

In Ring Segment
GFW World Heavyweight Champion Eli Drake came to the ring with Chris Adonis for a Championship Celebration to open the show, however Johnny Impact interrupted and challenged Eli to a World Championship match. Eddie Edwards came out and told Johnny that he needs to go to the back of the line. Jim Cornette came out and announced a tag team match and that whoever gets the pin will become the new number one contender, but that if Eli Drake gets the pin, then neither man will get a title opportunity.

GFW IMPACT Grand Championship Match
Ethan Carter III (c) defeated El Hijo del Fantasma. Post-match, Fantasma had a confrontation outside of the ring and then went back in the ring to attack Ethan Carter III, however Pagano came out making his debut and helped Fantasma in a double team beatdown on Ethan Carter III. Eddie Edwards came out to make the save.

Tag Team Match
oVe (Dave Crist & Jake Crist) defeated Fallah Bahh & Mario Bokara.

Singles Match
Petey Williams defeated Caleb Konley (w/Trevor Lee). Post-match, Caleb Konley and Trevor Lee beatdown Petey Williams until Sonjay Dutt came out to make the save.

Singles Match
Kongo Kong defeated Richard Justice. Post-match, Kong continued attacking Justice, however Mahabali Shera came out to make the save and threw Kong out of the ring.

Low Ki defeated James Storm.

Tag Team Match
Eli Drake & Chris Adonis defeated Eddie Edwards & Johnny Impact. Post-match, Bobby Lashley and several American Top Team MMA members came out to confront Eli Drake, however Jim Cornette interrupted and reminded them about staying inside the railings. Cornette announced that Eli Drake will defend his title against Matt Sydal next week.

Tag Team Match
Sonjay Dutt & Petey Williams defeated Trevor Lee & Caleb Konley. Post-match, there was an announcement to the live crowd that Texano has signed with GFW and will make his debut tonight.

Tag Team Match
Taryn Terrell & Sienna (w/KM) defeated Gail Kim & Allie (w/Braxton Sutter). Post-match, Taryn and Sienna attacked Gail and Allie, however Rosemary came out to give the faces an advantage. Taya Valkyrie came out, making her debut and attacked Rosemary and Allie.

In Ring Segment
Jim Cornette came out and announced that Eli Drake will defend his GFW World Championship against Matt Sydal tonight, but was interrupted by Johnny Impact who said that he wanted the winner of the match tonight. LAX came out and said that Johnny is getting white privilege by cutting the line ahead of Low Ki and said that his AAA Title means absolutely nothing here. Jim Cornette said that Johnny Impact is an internationally recognized talent, but he still has to wait in line, just like Low Ki has to wait in line. Low Ki said that this is not AAA, WWWE or Lucha Underground and that this is GlobaL Force Wrestling and Johnny needs to get in line behind him. Both men brawled as Jim Cornette threatened to suspend LAX if they did not leave the ring.

Tag Team Match
El Hijo del Fantasma & Pagano defeated Ethan Carter III & Eddie Edwards. Post-match, Texano came out and interfered making his debut. Texano, Fantasma and Pagano used a rope to whip Edwards and EC3 until James Storm came out to make the save, hitting Fantasma and Texano with beer bottles.

In Ring Segment
Jeremy Borash came to the ring and announced that Bobby Lashley is quitting Global Force Wrestling to pursue a career in mixed martial arts. Bobby Lashley asked for a final match with Moose as a send-off and then cut a promo in the ring, stating that he has been forced to decide between wrestling and mixed martial arts and claimed that American Top Team are begging him to come back and win a Heavyweight Title in MMA and that after several months of deliberation, he has decided to go home to his real family and friends and then called out Moose who came out and cheap-shot Lashley. Both men brawled all around the arena, which led to American Top Team members coming out to gang up on Moose. Security came out and attempted to break things apart, however the American Top Team members threw them to the side and stood tall with Lashley to close the tapings.
