In an interview with his Jim Cornette Experience podcast co-host Brian Last following his return during last night’s Destination X themed edition of GFW IMPACT, Jim Cornette discussed his return and his role going forward for the company.

Cornette said that he was contacted by Anthem Media recently and was now working directly for them. Cornette said that he was not a member of the roster, had not signed anything with Global Force Wrestling, possibly beyond clearances to allow his likeness to be used on-air and was not interested in working for the company, or any other company for that matter, on a full-time basis, stating that he was too old for that.

Cornette said that he is a corporate representative for Global Force Wrestling and noted that he was not signing any exclusive deal with anyone and that he would be appearing on television when there was a reason for him to appear, while also noting that nothing will be changing when it comes to his MLW podcast or his online store.
