GFW Global Champion Alberto El Patron is no longer under investigation by the Orlando Police Department in regards to the airport altercation earlier in the month between himself and WWE women’s wrestler Paige, according to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet.

The report notes that a representative for the Orlando Police Department stated that due to the detective’s investigation determining that Paige is the one who should be charged for domestic violence, that they no longer view Alberto El Patron as a suspect.

The Orlando Police Department believe that Paige (real name Saraya Bevis) should be charged with battery, while the State Attorney’s Office is currently reviewing the case before a final decision is to be made. At the time of the story becoming public, Alberto El Patron was suspended indefinitely by Global Force Wrestling, however the company have yet to announce that the suspension has been lifted.
