The following results are from a recent TNA Impact Wrestling TV Taping. The taping took place at the Impact Wrestling Zone at Universal Studios Florida on April 30th, 2012 in Orlando, Florida and will air on May 3rd, 2012 at 9pm Eastern on Spike TV.
In Ring Segment
The show opened with Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair in the ring talking about their recent exchanges and how both man believes that he is better than the other amongst other topics. A match between the two, potentially at either TNA Slammiversary or TNA Bound for Glory was alluded to.
Tag Team Match
Brooke Tessmacher and Velvet Sky defeated Gail Kim and Madison Rayne.
In Ring Segment
Rob van Dam came to the ring and was followed thereafter by Bobby Roode. RVD brought up the fact that he actually never lost the TNA World Heavyweight Championship going back, however Roode interrupts and tells him to shut his mouth and that he plans on adding him to the list of guys that he has beaten. Roode says that tonight, in the Pick Your Poison matches, RVD’s opponent is Jeff Hardy, while RVD shoots back and tells Roode that his opponent is Mr. Anderson.
TNA Television Championship Match
Devon (c) defeated Robbie T (w/Robbie E) via disqualification due to interference from Robbie E. Following this there was a segment involving Al Snow, Bruce Prichard and Ric Flair in regards to an Open Fight Night situation. Bruce Prichard and Ric Flair originally declined to offer Alex Silva a TNA Wrestling contract, however after persuasion from Al Snow he ended up landing a contract with the company.
Pick Your Poison Match
Rob van Dam defeated Jeff Hardy.
In Ring Segment
Bully Ray came to the ring with Jeremy Borash and bullied him in the middle of the ring, however Austin Aries came out and told Ray that he should be picking fights with wrestlers and not announcers. Ray spat in the face of Aries which led to a brawl between the two, however security seperated the two. Bully Ray managed to get a cheap shot in as both men were dragged away.
6 Man Tag Team Match
AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and Magnus defeated Kurt Angle, Christopher Daniels and Kazarian. Following the match Christopher Daniels got on the mic and announced that next week on Impact Wrestling, unless AJ Styles reveals the secret he has been holding, that Daniels will end up revealing it instead.
No Disqualification Pick Your Poison Match
Bobby Roode defeated Mr. Anderson. Jeff Hardy attempted to interfere during this match but Roode managed to fight him off. Following the match Roode attacked both Anderson and Hardy with steel chairs until RVD made the save. Roode managed to get the upper hand and laid out RVD with the chair to end the show.
