In an interview with the “Know Them From Adam” podcast on ESPN, DeAngelo Williams discussed his wrestling debut and retirement, his life as a parent, a return to the NFL and more.

On his appearance at the GFW/IMPACT Slammiversary pay-per-view, Williams noted that it was a one and done deal. Williams also talked about his friendship with Josh Mathews and what had led to him getting inside the squared circle and discussed his respect for the business and wanting to break the convention of celebrity matches in wrestling. Williams also discussed the table spot blunder towards the end of the match.

Williams said that GFW/IMPACT officials were impressed by his performance and wanted him to wrestle another match, however he thanked them for the opportunity and the chance to live out a dream and declined the offer.
