Former WWE, WCW and IMPACT Wrestling writer Vince Russo filed an order of protection against Jim Cornette on June 16th at the Posey County Superior Court in the State of Indiana, alleging that he had been a victim of stalking by Cornette, alleging that Cornette has been stalking and harassing him since October 1999, across several States in America.
Russo listed the alleged incident of stalking and harassment as being the June 15th episode of Cornette’s podcast on MLW Radio, available at this link, where Cornette promised that he had a gift for Russo.
The order also lists current WWE Performance Center coach Terry Taylor and the public audience as witnesses. For those wondering why Terry Taylor is listed, Taylor was an executive with IMPACT Wrestling at the time, when he forwarded an e-mail from Jim Cornette to Vince Russo showing that Cornette noted that he had dreams of killing Russo, while the order also alleged that Russo was publicly threatened.
Cornette was served with the order by local police at his home in Louisville, Kentucky and was ordered to stay away from Vince Russo, his wife Ann, Russo’s home, as well as Russo’s place of employment.
While the order did not specify the location of Russo’s employment, Cornette has been vocal in the past, alleging on his podcast that Russo is actually unemployed.
