In an interview on 106/7 The Fan in Washington, DC yesterday afternoon, former WWE and WCW superstar Bill Goldberg discussed the return of Brock Lesnar to the WWE, who he would face if he decided on a potential in-ring return and much more.
On his departure and Brock’s departure from the WWE, Goldberg noted that it was a case of unfinished business in that both of them left the WWE under circumstances that weren’t the most favorable for neither man, let alone the fans, however in regards to Brock in general, Goldberg noted that he has succeeded at everything in life, such as trying out for NFL, NCAA Wrestling, UFC, Professional Wrestling and more.
In regards to a potential in-ring return, Goldberg noted that his ideal final match would be against Stone Cold Steve Austin, as it would be a dream come true, however noted that the WWE may not trust him inside the ring with Stone Cold, as he’s considered a dangerous guy to work with and that he haphazardly ended Bret Hart’s career.
