In an update on former World Championship Wrestling star Marcus “Buff” Bagwell who was involved in a serious car crash on Monday and suffered a broken neck in two places, a crushed nose, a broken jaw which will remain shut for nearly a full year and a broken cheekbone, Ron Gossett of the Universal Championship Wrestling promotion noted on the company’s official Twitter account that Bagwell is showing signs of improvement and has been taken off the breathing tube as he awaits surgery on his face, jaw and neck.
Gossett also noted that the company will be holding a benefit show for Buff, with the proceeds going to his wife Judy and that the company are looking for wrestlers to help Buff Bagwell, his wife and their family, as well as the event in any capacity.
