Speaking through his official Twitter account, WWE commentator Michael Cole praised all matches at last night’s first night of the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament and also discussed his first night working with former ROH Champion Nigel McGuinness on the commentary team.
Note: I personally enjoyed the duo of Cole and McGuinness calling the action last night. Cole felt more at ease and more relaxed compared to Monday nights during RAW and pay-per-view events, as he put over the talent, their in-ring style, where they have worked and more instead of constant plugs of sponsors, Twitter and more during normal WWE events. I understand that these are two different ball games in terms of calling the content on-screen, but Cole last night personally to me reminded me of Michael Cole during his days of calling WWE SmackDown alongside Tazz.
"This is wrestling". My honor to call the matches of 16 impressive young men tonight. #wweukct! I can't wait for tomorrow night
