In an update on the charges being dropped against WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Snuka regarding the 1983 passing of his then-girlfriend Nancy Argentino, The Allentown Morning Call featured a piece on their official website featuring comments from Snuka’s defense attorney Robert Kirwan, the attorney of Chief Deputy District Attorney Charles Gallagher and Lorraine Salone, the sister of Nancy Argentino.

Regarding the charges being dropped against Snuka, Kirwan commented on the matter stating, “It was time for there to be closure. The medical evidence showed that he was not getting better and in fact, he’s getting worse.” Meanwhile, as mentioned above, the attorney of Chief Deputy District Attorney Charles Gallagher issued a statement to The Allentown Morning Call stating, “We are considering our options and will decide at the appropriate time what actions we will take.”

Lorraine Salone, the sister of Nancy Argentino also issued brief comments to the publications stating, “We kind of expected it because there were so many ridiculous things going on with the defense.” Salone stated that prosecutors told her that they may appeal the decision, but that nothing was certain and stated that Snuka’s mental health issues were a total act. Kirwan noted to the publication that Jimmy Snuka’s wife Carole broke down in tears when she was informed of the decision to drop the charges stating, “There is much that is not publicly known about this case. My client would have liked to clear his name and there was never a doubt in my mind that he would have been acquitted by a jury if he’s been well enough to stand trial.”
