Former WWE and ECW superstar Yoshihiro Tajiri may be returning to the WWE next year as part of the company’s Cruiserweight Division, according to WWE NXT General Manager William Regal, following comments he made at his one-man comedy show at The Stand Comedy Club in Glasgow, Scotland.

46-year-old Tajiri worked the WWE Cruiserweight Classic earlier this year, beating Damian Slater in the first round, before losing to Gran Metalik in the second round.
