PROGRESS Wrestling superstar Mark Haskins, who worked last night’s Chapter 38: When Men Thrown Men At Other Men event against Marty Scurll and Jimmy Havoc, relinquished the company’s World Title due to injury.
Haskins, who was clearly distraught, as can be seen in the video below stated, “Sometimes in life you have to make really s****y decision and right now, I’ve been told by the doctor that I can’t wrestle anymore and I’ve got some issues with my neck that I need to sort out. I’m in a lot of pain, some days I can’t feel my fingers and I know that if I want to be the PROGRESS Wrestling Champion again, I got to take some time away to fix things. If I do ever get the chance to wrestle again, then you can bet your f*****g money that I’m going to be the PROGRESS Wrestling Champion again one day.”
