Top independent wrestling star Ricochet, who works with Lucha Underground under the Prince Puma persona, is reported to be opting out of his contract with the promotion before the next season is taped to explore new possibilities.

Ricochet’s contract with Lucha Underground keeps him from appearing anywhere else on television until either all of his episodes have aired or six months after the last season that he is in has aired, however he is still permitted to take independent wrestling appearances, including his upcoming return to the EVOLVE Wrestling promotion.

There is a belief that if he does indeed opt out of his current deal, that he will be heading to WWE, working on the NXT brand.
