In an update on The Dudleyz farewell on last night’s edition of Monday Night RAW, the farewell was reportedly legitimate, according to a report from PWInsider.com who notes that while there were reports a few weeks back that the duo had reached a new deal with the company, that deal was never executed and over the past week, the duo decided to part ways with the WWE.

The report notes that the angle on RAW, which saw Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson attack The Dudleyz was done to get some heel heat for the two and to set up a potential feud between them and The Dudleyz if The Dudleyz decide to return and that after that segment ended, Bubba Ray and D-Von were welcomed to the locker room with a standing ovation from the entire RAW roster, WWE management and the McMahon family.

The report confirms that WWE were planning on splitting up Bubba Ray and D-Von and that with this news, there is no word as to what the duo plan to do next, whether that is wrestling for another company or focusing all of their attention on their Team 3D Wrestling Academy in Orlando, Florida.
