The WrestleMania magazine that WWE issue every year prior to the big event lists Stan Hansen as one of the names to be inducted into the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame class.

While fans may remember Hansen’s run as AWA Champion, his greatest success arguably came in Japan where he became the first foreign wrestler to defeat Antonio Inoki and Giant Baba.

The expectation is that Hansen’s announcement will be made this Monday and that he will join Sting, The Fabulous Freebirds, The Godfather, Jacqueline and The Big Boss Man in this year’s class.
