After Alberto del Rio’s comments in an interview with the media in Puerto Rico raised a few eyebrows when he stated that he wasn’t going to be appearing at WrestleMania XXVIII in the 12-man tag team match, a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted that there are larger plans for “The Mexican Aristocrat” down the line and the company felt that by throwing him into the match at WrestleMania, it will ruin their plans for his grand return.

Johnson also notes that Del Rio’s younger brother is also looking at breaking into the business and has begun the early stages of becoming a professional wrestler, training in Florida.
