WWE are said to be close to signing or have signed La Sombra to a developmental deal with the company, according to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

La Sombra, who is best known for his work with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) previously had a tryout with the WWE back in 2011.
