For those wondering about Jerry Lawler’s comments at the start of last night’s WWE RAW regarding Edge and Christian both being retired, that was not an error by Lawler as Christian has been pulled from the ring by the WWE and is considered retired as an in-ring performer.

The decision was made by the company around the time that Edge and Christian hosted the WWE Network special several months back due to the number of injuries and concussion that Christian has dealt with in the last few years.

The former World Champion is said to have just over a year left on his current deal with the company.
